Out West
Charlotte sitting on Omi's lap. . . .
Bobbing in the pool with Daddy.
With Great-Auntie Cheryl in Sanger.
With Great-Grandma Belle on her 86th birthday.
The folks, with their #1 grandchild. Nana flew down to Sanger from Seattle and Grandpa drove over from Atascadero.
I figured the photos above could describe our recent trip west to Reno/Tahoe and Sanger and I'll keep the commentary minimal. Charlotte did okay traveling (not spectacular, not horrible), but the time zone change wreaked havoc on her sleep schedule. Still, she adjusted as well as anybody could expect. She was, I have to say, amazingly good during the 6-hour drive to and from Sanger. Now home, she’s trying to adapt to Eastern time again, which has been a slow process. I think she will have readjusted by tomorrow or the next day.
Charlotte is now quite the traveler, no? At 5 months of age, this girl has already hit 7 states (if you count DC): Maryland, Virginia, DC, Washington, Texas, Nevada, and California.
Too bad she's not racking up frequent flyer miles. . . . .
