Happy Halloween! And happy 26 weeks’ gestation to our baby girl. Above are the latest baby belly photos. We’re slowly pushing our way outward. Fortunately, I have a freakishly long torso that helps to absorb some of the babyness—but, as you can see, not all of it. Baby Charlotte continues to kick and summersault like the healthy little fetus she is. We’ve been so unbelievably lucky so far, cruising through this pregnancy with practically zero problems. Here’s hoping that the next 14 or 15—or (gulp) 16—weeks are just as trouble free! Our Halloween night will be fairly low key but fun. We’re going to dinner in Georgetown with Chris’s very good friend, Paul, who is visiting us from San Francisco. Then we're heading to see the DC monuments at night. Spooky, eh? And no, I’m not dressing up as a pumpkin.
