Raise the Roof

A roof! And windows!

We went to Poolesville on Sunday to sign some more papers and walk through the framed house. It was freezing--barely hitting a high of 20 degrees. FREEZING.

When we pulled up to the lot, I almost couldn't believe this was OUR house. Not a model or someone else's house, but OURS. And yes, I may have lingered just a bit in what will be Charlotte's nursery, figuring out furniture layout and just picturing her growing up in there.

We're still on schedule, but we're hoping to firm up a closing date so we can book tickets to go to Seattle in the Spring. So far, so good!
